Engineering the Infrastructure of the Energy Transition
Independent technical advisory for hydropower, pumped storage, and renewable energy infrastructure across Australia, the Pacific, and Southeast Asia.
The Problem We Solve
Complex energy infrastructure projects across the Asia-Pacific region routinely encounter the same problem: the most consequential technical and commercial decisions are made without sufficiently independent, senior-level engineering advice.
Large consulting firms assign junior staff to critical advisory roles. Specialist input is diluted across teams with limited direct project experience. And developers, lenders, and government agencies are left to make capital commitment decisions based on technical assessments that lack the depth the decision demands.
Joule Pacific exists to close that gap.
The Joule Pacific Approach
We provide principal-led technical advisory — every engagement is led directly by Jens Meissner, a civil and geotechnical engineer with 25 years of direct experience on energy infrastructure projects across more than 20 countries.
Where specialist disciplines are required beyond our core expertise, we draw on a close network of senior specialists — cost estimation, geotechnical engineering, wind farm design, contracts, and project management — assembled for each project and working as an integrated team under Joule Pacific's advisory leadership.
The result is genuine specialist depth, direct senior engagement throughout, and the independence that defines credible technical advisory.
